TEX
The facility TEX, acronym for TEst stand for X-band, located at INFN’s Frascati National Laboratories, tests accelerated particles through microwave radiation at frequencies upto 12GHz (the X-band), in order to give charged particles greater acceleration, and to build increasingly compact linear accelerators in the future.
TEX will enable the creation of ultra-compact accelerators for diverse applications, from biomedicine to cultural heritage preservation, and materials and aerospace testing.

VIS has created a 360° VR video tour of the infrastructure, allowing viewers to experience the entire process, from technical functionality to real-world deployment. At one point, the journey even lets you travel alongside the accelerated particles, with cinematic detail and stunning visual quality.
